I love this place so hard. I first started going here because it was around the corner and super convenient. Then I got to know the staff and their genuine care for my animals and memory of who they are and what they’ve been through (without a chart). I’m now in grad school a couple states away but when I’m home for an extended period of time my animals come with me and they still get their bi-annual check ups here because the service is unparalleled.
We’ve been taking all of our rescue dogs to Spicewood Springs Animal Hospital for many years now. The staff is very professional and super helpful. The Vet staff always explain what’s going on with my animals and their recommendations. I would recommend them 100%! Thank you!!
Great experience. Front desk staff and Dr Goldenberg took my concern seriously and saw us right away as a walk in appointment. Dr. Goldenberg was very thorough in her exam and my dog felt very comfortable with her. Technician was great at her handling skills again making my giant German Shepherd feel at ease. Clinic was sparkling clean which was an added bonus! Thank you again to everyone for taking time out for us on your busy day.
I have been using Dr Benaryeh and the group at Spicewood Springs Animal Hospital for 7 years. I love him! He is kind, caring and takes all the time you need to explain things. I haven’t used the whole group, but I would definitely recommend Dr. Goldenberg also! The front desk crew is polite and professional, and I wouldn’t take my fur babies anywhere else!
Dr Sarah Crawford is always very attentive, thorough, and friendly. She always takes the time to connect with my dogs with a soothing voice and gentle touch before, during, and after the exams. She is clear about treatment options. The clinic is fully staffed with friendly people and is always very clean. They offer great clinic hours and do a great job of staying on schedule. I very highly recommend!
My various dogs and cats have been loyal and happy clients here since 2010. Dr Bates, Dr. B and all the others have never failed to give less than the BEST CARE for all the routines to the occasional emergencies. I drive from South Austin past dozens of other vets to get to Spicewood. Always great. Highly recommended.

We’ve always received good service with Spicewood Springs Animal Hospital. It’s extremely convenient to be able to drop our pets off in the morning so they can be seen by the vet during the day, and then we pick them up after work.

Everyone was so polite and nice. The process for check in and checkout was efficient and quick. Most importantly, my geriatric lab mix let them clip his nails. And I was told he behaved for them! I was so pleased with the experience.
All the vets at Spicewood Springs Animal Hospital are great. Most recently I took our nervous Aussie rescue to see Dr. Goldenberg about a cut on his paw. She soothes him and took great care of him. She let him smell the bandage material before using it and had a staff member petting him the whole time. They even fashioned a rain proof cover for his paw to keep his bandage unsoiled. Very caring veterinarians and staff.
The entire staff at Spicewood Springs is warm and welcoming. This makes our visits with a kitty who is never very happy to visit the vet a little less stressful.
I have brought my dogs to Dr. Benaryeh and his staff for many years. I have always been very pleased with the quality of services they have rendered. Dr. Benaryeh is quite simply, an exceptional veterinarian. He is a keen diagnostician, an exemplary surgeon and a kind and caring human being. These qualities and leadership are reflected in his staff. As a human physician who did has an undergraduate degree in veterinary health care, I know quality when I see it. I love my pets, they are absolutely precious in my life. You can trust Spicewood Springs Animal Hospital with your fur babies. Period.
All the doctors are excellent and personable. The staff members are always helpful, warm, competent, and caring. Hands down, the best place I’ve taken my cats in 40+ years living in Austin.
Everyone is super nice and I’m always seen on time. Plus, there is always a form of follow-up by the Dr or staff. Even a card, after I had to put my 15 yr old cat to sleep. That was very nice.

I’ve always been impressed with this office! Incredible care always given with kindness and concern. I’ve never had to wait long, even with an emergency visit for our elderly cat. And, the waiting/exam rooms are immaculate and comfortable.
Dr. Bates is great with my dog, he always gets excited when he realizes where we are going. Everyone at the clinic is knowledgeable and efficient.
